This outfit is so uninspiring that I really don't know why I'm posting. I feel like such a rut with my clothes and stuff lately and I guess it's a lot to do with focusing on work and having to make sure I can make the most out of my day. Sometimes picking an outfit takes way too long, especially if you want to look really good, so I go for "mediocre" and "okay" at the minute.

Today I spent most of my day doing research and work, keeping myself busy with university work and staying on top of it as much as I can. My life is about as interesting as this outfit at the minute, unfortunately for me.

I have to say I have become a little excited over the pastel colours that have filled high street stores all around therefore I had to make a wednesday wants post showing some ways in which I would wear the colours.

Look One for me is the perfect Spring wedding outfit. Whilst the colours are cool they compliment each other perfectly. The gold necklace, by Go Go Philip, is defintely something I would invest in if I didn't already own way too many pieces of costume jewellery. I would keep my hair down when wearing this outfit, making sure it held a slight wave to fit in with the casual yet structured feel to the clothes.

These shoes are to die for. I am in love with them. Sometimes I wish Topshop didn't have to break my bank, but oh well. Look Two is simple yet so girly that I can't help but smile. It is definitely a spring outfit and you know this from the fact that I've thrown a denim jacket in there. I love denim jackets in the summer, on both guys and girls. Gold accents compliment the cool shades, warming them up instantly.

Finally Look Three is my casual boyish look that screams American Apparel without a single item from the store. Pastel colours when put together with the right tones can not only brighten but maximize and get the best out of a trend.

I'm really enjoying making these "WW" posts once more. I know they aren't as frequent as they used to be but that is mainly because I'm trying to focus on my university work. I hope this doesn't annoy anyone. On the plus side, my blog is still frequently being updated so that's a positive haha!

Brought this shirt last summer from New Look in both a coral/pinky colour and classic white. I have to say they are a take on a classic shirt and the newer cut (you know, longer at the back than at the front). What I love about these shirts is that they can casual but also smart. I love pieces that are versatile in that way, that I can dress up and down easily.

Still have yet to book me and my macbook an appointment at the apple shop. I'm dreading to hear that it's broken if I'm honest. It's going to suck so badly to have it confirmed to me that I really am computer less. Really hating having to use my brother's old crappy laptop. Oh well it's better than nothing I guess.

#1. Enjoyed spending the day in my pajamas today, catching up with television and doing some uni work. Sometimes you just need those days where you don't really do anything too tasking on the brain.

#2. Went to my best friend's sisters hen night this week! I have to say I had such a fun night! We sampled and made our own cocktails, had a meal and then went out to a night club after... Its the first time I've ever been on a hen night and they are definitely eventful! Honestly had such a great laugh and was very much needed, really looking forward to her wedding now!

#3. I watched A Dangerous Method this week and I have to say Keira Knightley performance in the film was fantastic! I'll admit that she isn't my favourite actress in the whole world but my opinion of her has definitely changed after that film. I would recommend if you can see if, definitely go do so! Some brilliant acting!

#4. Any free time that I had this week outside of Uni/assignment work I made sure I spent chilling. By this I mean I watched films and caught up with television. I finally got to watch My Week With Marilyn and I have to say I really enjoyed the film. Michelle Williams was brilliant. She pulled off Marilyn fantastically, so much so that sometimes I found myself double taking at some of the scenes. She looked the spitting image of her sometimes that it was actually creepy!

Firstly, I just want to apologise for the creasing in my top. It's one of those annoying fabrics that creases like a mo-fo (wow, I haven't used that expression in so long!) which is why I rarely wear it. I have to say I love the tonal effect of colours in this outfit. Tobaccos, beiges and nudes always catch my eye, and whilst it can look quiet boring there is something effortlessly chic about it!

I'm really looking forward to my best friends sisters hen-night this weekend! Should be great fun! We're going to a place where we can sample and make our own cocktails before having a meal. I can't wait! This is the first proper hen-night that I've been on (and by that I mean being able to drink too!) and I just can't wait!

I just want to say that for those who follow me on twitter would know that my MacBook has broken. I'm so upset by it, which is stupid considering it can be replaced, but I feel like my whole life was on that thing! Anyway, for future reference I've been schduling a couple of posts on this blog just until my computer is fixed or I get a new one. Sorry if this annoys anyone but I don't want to neglet this blog entirely if I can help it somehow.

Put a little more thought into my outfit today, probably because I don't have to rush out of the door for uni. I feel like I haven't worn a skirt in so long (really I have but it just feel like I haven't). This body con skirt is from Matalan (a place I rarely buy from considering my Mum calls its Tatalan, aka bad quality) and was so cheap, something like 4£!

I really like this outfit though, it's girly and comfortable at the same time. Great for relaxing but I won't feel like a mess if I leave the house haha (typical student!). Just making sure I give one of my assignments that last finishing touches before I move onto another one... Seems never ending!

#1. It's almost been two weeks since I started using Rapid Lash and I just wanted to post a little about it (I'm planning on doing a huge review at the end of one month/two months considering that's when others have said they started noticing a difference). I can actually see a difference in my eyelashes which I'm actually surprised about, they are not only a little longer but also darker which is always a plus when you're not wearing any makeup. Definitely check it out if you haven't already done so!

#2. For most of the day I've been working on assignments and I'm just going to put this out there, I hate referencing! I know its necessary and all that but it just really annoys me. Like I write something good but then I realise I haven't referenced any of the ideas or anything so I have to go back and see whether I can find something to agree or match what I've said just so it doesn't look like I've plagiarized or what have you and it annoys me! Haha, vent over! You can tell I haven't really got much of a life at the minute, my writing just reads full of pent up aggression and anger! Sorry!

#3. Went to a local bar this Friday night and have to say its the first time I've experienced something so surreal. I was just in there with a couple of friends and them ~*BAM*~, a bunch of different guys came in and started having a dance off. Me and my friends were laughing so much, we even joined it! It was hilarious! The only downside was that one of the dancers stunk so much of sweat and body odor hahaha!

#4. I was in two minds about posting about what I'm going to talk about but then I thought, so what?! It's nothing bad but probably a little embarrassing (considering I know if kids as young as 9 like them). I tried my hardest to get tickets to see One Direction yesterday and failed majorly! It annoyed the living daylights out of me as well, haha! I kinda wanted to see them and am really bummed them a can't hahaha! Oh well, I guess I could just eBay at a later date, that is if I like them by the time I'm 21 (covers pink cheeks from embarrassment!)

I'm trying to focus on my assignments lately so I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I really have got to pull my socks up and make sure I get the grades that I want. Anyway, I guess this is why most of my outfits are rather boring and just meh. I'm seeking "fashionable looks" that I can just throw on and still look reasonable I suppose.

You really can't go wrong with a denim shirt when it comes to one of those outfits you can thrown on and go out of the door. Loving this shirt from Topshop that I've had for years (probably about three years now!) and some trusty leggings!

I know many bloggers out there aren't really a fan of the Batiste Dry Shampoo products, I on the other hand don't have a problem with them. I have been a fan of their products for almost two years and always like the effect that the dry shampoos do to my hair. When I saw this product in my local Superdrug I knew that I wanted to give it a try.

My hair really isn't the flattest out there. It's naturally wavy, and is incredibly thick, but sometimes like those of you reading this may know, sometimes it needs a boost! Originally I brought this product just because I needed a new dry shampoo when my other one had ran out.

When I used it the first time I have to say I wasn't impressed. It made my hair feel like I'd sprayed a really cheap hairspray at the roots and tried to back comb the heck out of it. it did make my hair larger with volume so I guess it did what I set out to do but it made my hair feel like it hadn't been brushed for quite sometime. Eventually as the day went on the feeling dispersed and my hair went back to normal.

Unfortunately I'm not really a fan of this product and this is the first time that I've ever really felt let down by Batiste. However because I am a poor student I am going to give it another chance as I don't really want to waste the 200ml. Hopefully I enjoy using the product more a second time around, but based upon first impressions I really don't think I will.

I'm really trying to use my days where I'm not a university to the best that I can. So I'm either reading, working my butt off with studying, constantly writing, doing something for the blog, working out etc etc. It's not stop but then again if you want to make the most of your life then I guess that it was what you have to do. #1. Not going to lie, I feel like I need a holiday or something. You know when they say that you get blues in January, I feel like mine have come a month late. I am just over this month and want it to get warm-ish already haha! So sick of feeling cold and blah. I want to be able to go out in just a cardigan and yeah.... This sounds so silly but still!

#2. It's my Dad's birthday on Wednesday next week and I really don't have any idea what to get him. He always moans that we shouldn't waste our money on him but I can't not get him anything can I? (That would make me such a terrible daughter!) If anyone has any ideas of what I could get him without breaking the bank then please feel free to comment below because I definitely need the help!

#3. Finally managed to watch The Vow. Really wish I was a lovely looking as Rachel McAdmas. She is so beautiful. The film itself was pretty good. I'm a sucker for romantic stuff (how girly of me!) so I knew I'd like this movie. Even more so because Rachel McAdams is in is (oh and Channing Tatum, he's not too bad on the eyes either if we're all honest).

#4. Sorry I don't really have anything interesting to type this week. My life isn't thrilling enough, sometimes I even wonder why I bother with these round-up posts considering I don't always do a lot in the week so they must be incredibly boring to read. Haha!

Sorry that I look a little bit like a madwoman in the first picture. I think I was trying not to blink in the photograph. Hahaha, it is actually terrible. I cannot believe that we are over halfway through February already, where is this year going. I have just over two months of my second year at uni left, it is actually scary.

So close to starting my driving lessons, definitely booking them next week as I want to have a lesson in the first week of March. I should be able to drive already by no considering I'm twenty, turning twenty one this year, it is actually embarrassing. I am so ready for a car now that I can't even deal, just want a little bit of Independence I guess.

Don't really know what to write about this outfit. It's my standara black skirt and tights combo with a shirt that I seem to be unable to live without. Hopefully it isn't too boring for you all and you aren't 'x-ing' out of my blog. I'll try and be more inspirational again soon. Promise, maybe.

wednesday wants #20 - metallic.

Metallics were a big trend last year and it appears that they are carrying through into SS12. I have to say, personally, I think this is one of those trends that can be hard to pull off unless you want to look like a sweet wrapper. However, when teamed with the right items it can look amazing.

Styling this trend up was hard for me, hence there only being two looks this week. I don't know whether it was because I couldn't find that many items that didn't look cheap on the high street or whether it's because I just can't imagine myself wearing this trend I'm not too sure. Anyway, I hope the ones I have put together give you enough inspiration to bite the bullet and try this trend for yourself!

There is not about about it, Look One is a nod towards the Christian Dior catwalk of 2010. By choosing one statement piece this trend doesn't look too full on. These trousers by Topshop are devine. They are one of those items that can be dressed up easily and dressed down if you're feeling daring in the day time. By keeping the palette neutral, and dressing other items in a matching tone of a cream nude not only is the outfit rounded up but you don't look like a sweet wrapper!

Look Two unlike Look One however was much harder to achieve. I don't know whether this was because I find silver looks tackier next to gold or not, but it proved an easy task. Again by letting the metallic piece be the statement and working around it gives an on trend look without being too in your face. Black, is always great as an accent colour.

I don't know what it is when it comes to black but I just cannot seem to step away from buying anything in the colour. It is actually really terrible. However I think I have to make an exception when it comes to this dress, as I really like it. Again, like the other two outfits I posted, it is from H&M. There was something about H&M last year that saw it go through a really great phase with the clothes that they were bringing out. Usually I go in there and cannot find a thing that I love and them sometimes *BAM* I want absolutely everything.

I don't really have much to update about on the life front. I'm pretty boring trying to focus on uni work and reading. Such a book worm lately, but unfortunately not only love sick novels, on media texts. I could really do with a night on the tiles. Anyone?

#1. Nothing interesting happened this week. Unfortunately I'm trying to focus really hard on my uni work and anything outside is having to be pushed to the wayside. Sucks really because I wanted to do a bunch of things this year but they seem like they are gonna have to be put on the back burner until I know that I can actually focus all my time and effort onto them.

#2. Derby day today for the footie and the team I support won! So chuffed haha! I know it sounds silly but I get really passionate about this sort of stuff and its always a nice feeling when you win! So yay!

#3. Really wanting to see a ton of things at the cinema lately. I want to see The Vow and This Means War. Have to say that Tom Hardy is so lush! Seeing him last night on Jonathan Ross was a little awkward though. His eyes just flipped, kinda scary if I say so myself but then again I'm sure he's a lovely guy! Doesn't stop me finding him attractive anyway (shallow hal right here!).

#4. Really terrible news about Whitney Huston. Have to say I always loved her voice, she was definitely one of those artists who always brought a smile to my face whenever I heard some of her songs. Old and new. She was one of the original divas and she will definitely never be replaced, not matter how many people try and copy her, she is the one and only.

I know what you're thinking - you're twenty why do you need to use an eyecream? You're still young. Well, I read somewhere that once you hit twenty you should start using lotions and potions more consistently. So the weekend of my birthday I ended up Superdrug buying this product, and I have to say it is definitely one of my better investments.

The product consists of two things. Firstly, a white anti wrinkle cream and secondly a red, re-tautening gel. The two products together have a different consistently when applied to the skin. I have found the red re-tautening gel is a lot thicker and stronger when massaged into the skin, whilst the cream almost sinkss in to the pores immediately without real need to rub it in.

Since I have started applying this product I have noticed a change in my under eye circles immensely, and I have to say that if you have had a terrible nights sleep if you rub this into your no doubt puffy eyes the morning after you immediately wake up (well I did anyway).

The RRP of this product is £9.96 when bought from Superdrug.

I'm trying to recycle clothes and this is one of those items that I absolutely love to wear. I feel like I can pull it on and I don't look like I've barely put that much effort into my outfit even though I've done next to nothing. I know I've worn it on the blog before but I'm trying so hard not to buy a ton of clothes, not only because I'm wanting to lose weight but because it really isn't necessary considering I already have way too many items of clothing as it is.

Peter Pan collars are always going to be my favourite thing. As a trend I think they've really stuck around and sort of adapted as the trend as carried on but started the whole high collared, shirts buttoned all the way to the top, look. Love it!

Today is my brother's birthday, he is 25! So old... Haha I'm kidding! We went out for food Saturday which is always lovely... Yeah, don't know what else to say ahah. #fail.

#1. I spent all of yesterday getting some posts ready. Taking a lot of photographs if makeup items and things that I've wanted to review. As well as putting together some wednesday wants/ways to wear articles to post. My internet has been a mess this week so I haven't been able to update properly except for Monday and the two other posts that I scheduled before hand. It's really bad because I have some many people I need to email back about other things and I haven't been able to do it. I'm just a bit stressed at the minute.

#2. I watched War Horse this week and oh my goodness that film was so moving. I don't know how it really could be but the way in which it was shot was just incredible. I've really been enjoying my free time that I've set aside for myself outside of studying. It's nice to know that if I finish my tasks that I've set myself for the day I have something to look forward too, keeps me going!

#3. Studying and reading have been two of my main focal points this week. I have to say I've been enjoying reading around my module choices. I think I'm really getting into this whole being a student thing again. If you use your time wisely it's so much easier to achieve, like reading on the train journey to uni and back is like 30 minutes worth of reading. Sometimes it goes out of the window after I've had a break but I've found it easier to pick back up this time around compared to last year. Also if I come off the computer an hour earlier and read before I go to bed, not only do I find I sleep better but I'm also doing extra reading. Can't be a bad thing really!

#4. I've really been obsessed with Kelly Clarkson's new album Stronger this week. I really love her music and I have to say that Dark Side is definitely my jam off the album!

The dress is from H&M and it's one of those pieces I picked up last year but didn't get around to wearing. This product has actually been out for a while now but I haven't gotten around to photographing and editing any of products to review. However before it got stupidly too late to actually write my thoughts on this product, I decided to finally get back to the task at hand.

I'm not usually one who wears anything interesting on my lips. Usually I opt for Rimmel's Take A Chance lip gloss, or wack on some Vaseline ad I'm good to go. However recently I've decided to be more daring and branch out. When I came across this in my collection I just knew that I had to give it a try, properly this time.

From my first application I knew that I was going to really enjoy using this product. Having lips that are already naturally pinky, sometimes a deep pink, I was quite concerned on whether the colour pay off would be any good. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. The colour isn't too in your face and offers a really thick coverage on my pigmented lips. The consistently is considerably thick, holding a lovely scent that tastes and smells of vanilla.

The application by the doe foot wand is actually rather easy, and often you can get away with one swift swipe of the applicator over your lips. For the price of £2.99 the product is extremely cheap for the quality achieved. I would definitely recommend this product!

I know I probably shouldn't say it but these photos look so morbid. Eek! It's not a good look. Sorry I posted them but I took them this morning and haven't got the time to actually take any others. Can't believe it is essentially the end of January. This month has actually gone really quick. Usually it drags to high heaven and I find myself getting incredibly "depressed" during this time. However it hasn't really happened this year, woo hoo! I am looking forward the summer though, I know I'm wishing my life away, but I just want to feel free again!

I'm not going to post much else because my Internet keeps cutting out. I really hope it isn't anything serious but I've got a feeling unfortunately that it is.

#1. Sorry the blog has been bare this week, I've just been trying really hard to focus on university work and reading around subjects etc... I'm trying to do some scheduled posts and stuff but it isn't working out so far. Photoshop keeps crashing on me so I can't edit any of my pictures that I've taken! Utter nightmare!

#2. I watched The Iron Lady finally. I have to say at first I really didn't want to go and see the film encase Thatcher herself was actually getting some of the money (I don't know maybe it's just my working class values/family that ploughed this into me) but eventually I gave in and saw it anyway. I really liked it. I've always found Thatcher and her government interesting - whether I'm learning about it through school or just reading about it as a pastime. As much as I didn't agree with what she did to the industries of England, I'll agree she was a remarkable character.

#3. Other than that my week has been pretty uneventful to be honest. I suppose just getting back into the swing of all things life. I'm quite disappointed with myself if I'm honest. I wanted to have started my driving lessons by now but I have yet to book them. I don't know whether to just wait until the weather get slightly better and maybe start in March time or something. Gah.

#4. Thinking of found my top 2011 products, even though it's really late. I don't know whether I should bother now. It's like one of those things doing December favourites at the beginning of January because it's usually timing that is the main issue on when to get things up. I may just leave it now but I really would like to post them. Myabe I'll just wait until my top products of 2012, instead. We shall see.

wednesday wants #19 - chunky knitwear.

Considering it's so freezing outside I thought what better way to bring back my Wednesday Wants segment with something that could keep readers warm at this time of year. Chunky knitwear is one of those things that can actually be tricky, unless you are going for the whole shapeless, boxy look. Silhouettes and correct pairings are important to ensure balance. Hopefully I've achieve that with these three looks, inspiring some of you out there to go and buy a large jumper and get cosy.

Look One is inspired by my lazy attitude when it comes to dressing for university. The leggings are slim and fitting compared to the boxy jumper, balancing the two different sizes easily. By taking elements of colour out of the textured jumper and matching accessories allows the black accents of the outfit to stand out and fit in all at the same time, rounding off the outfit nicely.

For those who feel brave, then take inspiration from Look Two. This is easily a twisted school-girl look, with socks and mary-jane shoes and huge hoops that would give Rhianna a run for her money. Keep your hair simple, maybe in a top knot, to not only elongate the neck against the circular high collar of the jumper but also to show off the bling.

Look Three is easily my favourite. Keeping the outfit palette simple of a grey and black mixture, creates simple chic. Whilst the one outfit colour immediately creates a slimming effect. The Chelsea boots, hat and Casio watch give a nod to the boy-girl trend of last year and compliment the shapelessness of this outfit style.

Hope everyone liked my feature this week. It's nice to be back writing these sort of posts. I'm a little out of practice but hopefully my next one will be better. This is actually what I wore Saturday but I didn't have a chance to post it because I busy done a bunch of other things. Monday's are my days off at university so it means I can work my butt of by doing a ton of things gym related and uni work related (when all that starts rolling in again) as well as getting outfits up on my blog. That's the only time I definitely know I can get an outfit post up 100% which sucks.

I am loving these shorts from New Look. I'm not really a person who gets their body out, especially because lets be honest, it's not the most slender (I know, I know, it could be a whole lot worse. Then again it could be a whole lot better.) yet I can't resist these shorts. Of course I stuck them with my trusty jumper from ASOS, and there ya go!

My time table for uni has changed. It means that some weeks I'm in four times a week, other weeks I'm only in twice. I don't know how I feel about that if I'm entirely honest. I think its because I get into a routine and then my body decides that it doesn't want to work with changes that happen and then I get really ill. Meh, guess I'll just have to face it when it comes.

#1. Uni started back up this week and I am incredibly tired. Getting back into a routine is gonna take some times to getting used to but I'm sure I'll cope. Hopefully I enjoy this semester just as much as last semester, even though I'm dreading the idea of having an exam at the end of one of my modules. Eek!

#2. Last week I tried to photograph as many different products as I could to "review" on the blog. Only because I know that it's going to be hard juggling different things. Firstly uni and then the blog and then life in general. Let alone any other projects I'm hopefully gonna partake in this year. Just seemed logical to me. Expect to see some things soon.

#3. Spent Tuesday celebrating my friends birthday with her. We went shopping in the day and had lunch together. It was such a good time! So glad we're both twenty now haha because I was beginning to feel old. (JOKE!) Who actually knew that window shopping could be so much fun!

#4. Fitness is still going good. Worked out six times this week and actually enjoyed it. Was thinking of joing my local Zumba class with my best friend but I'm not too sure. Has anyone tried it? I've heard it's meant to be really fun, and actually works! I always feel a bit blah about this sort of thing though considering it's a commitment that I think alongside uni I probably would find hard to achieve. I know that with working out at home I'm actually going to get it done, so I'll probably wait until the summer to join some fitness classes.

#5. Follow five this week was hard. I haven't really had a chance to look at blogs so I decided to do some youtube channels instead. I only have one though which is BlushBlendBeauty! Definitely check Natalie out, I know she had a blog but I'm not too sure on the URL. She does some great makeup tutorials!

I ended up going shopping today but don't worry I wasn't wearing this outfit. I changed my bottoms into skinny black jeans because it is definitely way too cold for shorts. I was freezing all day.

My sleeping was horrendous last night, I didn't go to sleep until 4am and woke up at 8:30am... Just horrible. The bags under my eyes are horrible. I am definitely getting an early night tonight ready for uni tomorrow or else I'm going to definitely look like the walking dead.

Today I spent time with my best friend who turned 20! We just chilled around her house, watched movies and talked. Originally we planned to go shopping but she actually isn't very well so instead I went and looked after her haha! She loved her presents which I am really glad of. I sometimes find it a little hard to buy for her because whilst she's girly she isn't too girly. Anyway, I succeeded for another year, thank goodness!

My outfit today is something I just threw on. I bought three of these H&M dresses last year, I believe and I've only just gotten around to wearing them. Reading that back makes it sound like I'm wasteful, but I just have too many clothes (even though half of the time it feels like I have nothing to wear). I really need to have a sort out soon or else my room is going to turn into chaos, full of clothes.

I start Uni again Thursday, so I'm guessing that posting after Thursday is going to be sparse. I may schedule some posts but I'm not sure. Hope everyone has a great evening, I'm off to catch up on some television and blogs!

the worst bags in history and looking like a tramp 2k12...

#1. This week I've been getting back into my fitness, working out 6 times a week and mixing it up. I have to say at the beginning of the year I slacked majorly, mostly because I felt like everything was getting on top of me. However, my energy levels have changed dramatically and I've gotten the working out buzz back. This year I think I really want to turn my attention to the gym. Currently I work out at home, doing a mixture of DVDs, biking, weight lifting etc... But I would really love to get into running. It's something that I haven't ever been able to do, not properly anyway, and there's something about this year that I feel like is going to make that change. Whether it actually happens though I'm not sure, we'll see.

#2. Had a great night Friday celebrating my best friend turning 20! Honestly cannot believe we met six years ago now when we were sat next to each other in a seating plan for Year 9 English. We're all getting so old now... But we'll still be the same teenager, high school girls at heart haha!

#3. This week I have to say one ting that particularly annoyed me was being the bigger person. Sometimes is it actually worth it?! Angers me because I'm not a bad person but when people choose to ignore you it actually really pisses me off... I guess some people just really aren't worth your time are they.

#4. Insomnia has been such a bitch this week! I'm finding it really hard to sleep and the worst thing is I wanted to start getting back into a routine before Uni cam back round so I don't look like the living dead when my lecture actually start back up again. Worst thing is I'm pretty sure there isn't a cure for insomnia, I don't really want sleeping tablets or anything so I'm stuck. Sucks.

This week has been going from one bad thing to the next. Maybe I'm being melodramatic slightly but I've been in one of those moods where I can't see the postive side of anything. My Kettlebell from amazon came Tuesday and man oh man does that thing work out muscles that you didn't even know you had! My body has been aching so much since I started using it but that shows it works right? Have to say I couldn't help but laugh my head off at the poster that came with it. Mainly because one of the models was Lee out of Steps. I did one of those double take things when I was running my eyes over the different exercises. The things you do for money, haha!

Done quite a few things today. Firstly worked out lightly (only for 30 minutes) as I'm trying to ease myself back into working out near enough every day. Then I just ticked off my to do list. I think I may have figured out what driving instructors/company that I want to go with which is one step closer to actually learning. Hopefully I can get around to booking them this week as I ideally I'd like to start learning next weekend.

I have to say I think my busy schedule (omg that sounds so conceited haha) has reflected into my outfit. I know I've already worn this on the blog but its not that I'm lacking inspiration it's just lack of time. My newest addition to this outfit however is the coat, which is from H&M. It is what I would have been wearing if I actually lead the house today, haha!

#1. Must say this 2012 hasn't been the best of starts. Got incredibly stressed out this week because of an assignment, which is never good. But I have to say I have been productive in other ways so I guess we're balancing it out right? It's just one of those things that comes with adult life I suppose, which sucks but just got to get on with it.

#2. JERICHO RETURNED TO RAW. YES THIS DID MAKE IT INTO MY SUNDAY SNAP ROUNDUP! Haha.... Honestly I guessed it would be him from the promos but I am so PUMPED! I really loved Jericho mainly because I when I watch people who I watched when I was young it just makes me happy.

#3. I did want to start the way that I meant to go on with the blog when it comes to outfit posts however I just don't think I'm going to be able to actually post more than two a week. At least I'm still posting though, and maybe I'll throw in some random posts in there whenever I can. Like ways to wear etc...

#4. I'm posting my roundup earlier than I usually do. This is because I really want to spend the whole day making sure all my essays are okay with wording, grammar etc... Ready to be handed in for this up coming week. Have to say one of them I am really proud, its definitely one of the best essays I've written whilst I've been at uni and whilst that may sound like conceited sometimes you have to believe in yourself. There is nothing wrong with having confidence.

Didn't really leave the house today so my outfit really wasn't anything special I'm afraid. However I want this blog to actually represent real fashion and not everyone dresses up to the nines every single day. Most times I don't, not because I don't want to but because sometimes I just don't have time to.

I've been finishing up my assignments up for next week. Can't believe I'm back at uni. I think this holiday has actually gone quite quick. Another day of essay writing today, which I was actually thankful for in some weird way considering the weather was so crazy! I'm so close to going back to uni and it actually sucks a lot. I mean I'm really loving my course this year but I'm going to miss my friends so much when we all go our separate ways back to uni. Summer really cannot come quick at times like these. Reading that back to myself I know I'm willing 2012 away already and its only just begun, but I'm in one of those ~*funky*~ places.

I'm not really a fan of this outfit, but it was different and a little bit of a break from my usual skirt look. The fact that I've got my hair up in a ponytail is so 90s. I usually don't like wearing my hair up and only do it when I'm too lazy to actually style my hair properly.

With the new year only just starting I've been compiling a 2012 goals list. Its already posted up at the top so check it out if you want to know what things I've got planned for this year. Definitely going into it with a positive attitude, gotta make the most out of what you've got!

#1. Happy New Year everyone! Just constructing my 2012 goals. I think some of them are going to be the same as my 2011 ones but obviously they'll be some knew ones in there too. I like the idea of having a "bucket list" of things to do, always keeps you busy.

#2. Hope not too many of you are recovering from hangovers... Actually? If you are it shows you had a great night right? I don't know. I had a pretty great night seeing in the new year with my friends and family!

#3. Of course now it's time to attack the essays that have to be handed in for university. This is where panic sets in half of the time but I'm pretty sure I'll be okay, thank goodness. There is this one essay though that I'm really not looking forward too but if it's gotta be done, it's gotta be done and I'll just have to bite the bullet and hopefully do okay. Fingers crossed.

#4. Finally finished watching the adaptation of "The Great Expectations" on BBC and I have to say it really was brilliant. Douglas Booth was marvellous, and well what can you say about Ray Winstone, he's just... Indescribable as a actor. Both he and Stephen Graham are definitely some of the finest actors that have come out of our country.

#5. Anyway, that's the end of my first ever sunday snap for 2012. It's hard to think of really... This year I'll turn 21 eek! But that's a long way off yet haha... Fingers crossed 2012 is good to myself and everyone!

my top 20 outfit picks this year/2011.

As the end of the year is fast approaching I thought that I would go through my outfit posts and pick my favourites. This year I have posted a lot more outfit posts than I thought I would get around to doing and I have actually enjoyed putting outfits together and seeing what they look like through photography.

This year I have to say I have taken care over the way I look. I decided to change my eating habits at the beginning of the year and I feel like you can see how my body has changed. Body confidence isn't something that I have always had but I slowly think that through the help of this blog I'm getting more and more. I've lost dress sizes, brought items of clothing in colours (or tones) rather than black and thrown inhibitions to the wayside because of this blog and I think that this is only a good thing.

Fashion is a hobby of mine, I find myself interested in it immensely but I wouldn't say that it dictates to me what I should or should not wear. I'm not a slave to trends, even though I have taken delight in seeing them be woven into the high street. High street shopping is definitely one of the best things about the United Kingdom, how they get fashion out to everyone and make it accessible and up to date with quick turnovers and changes. This year my favourite stores have been Miss Selfridge, Topshop and of course Primark. However New Look has pleasantly surprised me with a number of items.

Anyway, I hope that this love of outfit posting only continues and that people enjoy reading the blog and what I have to offer. I have to thank you for giving me an excuse to buy endless amounts of clothes (even though I would do this with or without this blog because I'm a shopaholic... LOL) and here's to a great 2012!

I've really been trying to breakup the clothes I wear because I know how repetitive it can be to see black all the time. However this isn't my most favourite thing that I have worn. It was more of an experimental outfit in the sense that I wanted to see how the shirt hung when I finally wore it.

I got it from Primark a long time ago and haven't ever gotten around to wearing it. The colour is really lovely, a mix between a pink and light purple. And whilst it is something I wouldn't usually opt for it looks great against light and dark accents.

This actually wasn't my outfit choice today, I wore this some time ago but didn't post it. I know that's cheating but I wanted to post something anyway. The playsuit is something I've had for quite some time, as is the cardigan. They're the items that you find at the back of your wardrobe when you're cleaning.

Today has been one of those days and as I sat at my computer this morning planning my essay I felt like the whole freaking world was on my shoulders. Slight exaggeration but still. Of course I've left my least favourite essay until last because I am the best like that, but I don't know, -sigh-

I'm heading out to the pub in a minute to see my friends. We still haven't planned anything for new years. We always leave it late and even though we said we wouldn't do it again, of course we have! Hopefully we can still get tickets to something, or go somewhere, and have fun otherwise it's going to suck.

What did I tell you? The skirt would be back in full swing. A lot sooner than I thought too. IRL (In Real Life for those of you who can't figure that out) I thought this outfit wouldn't look okay when photographed. Maybe it's because the shape of it isn't there and its very slouchy/baggy. Even more so with the vest top not being tucked in. However it actually doesn't look too bad and somehow works.

I know my hair looks really scruffy in these pictures but when I don't have anywhere to go I just throw it up in a topknot and leave it. As for my oufit, my tunic is something that is so old that I'm shocked it hasn't fallen apart by now. Even more so because it is Primark. I used to wear it to death in college (I'm now in my second year of uni) because it was so light and could be thrown over leggings and still look good. It's definitely one of those go to pieces when I'm not in the mood to actually figure out what I'm going to wear, or want to look good whilst still being able to relax. So it's definitely suitable for today.

Currently I'm sitting next to a pile of wrapping paper cuttings, tags, rolled up scrap pieces of sellotape and just mess. Wrapping presents can be quite stressful but I love picking out wrapping paper and matching tags because I'm such a girl like that. After I post this I'm going to clean my bedroom, picking up all the rubbish and having no mercy on it.

I have too much love for this vest. There is something so striking about the vest that I could wear it over and over. To me it is one of those pieces that could be dressed up or down. And my knuckle duster ring is definitely only for show considering I cannot do a bloody thing with the thing on my fingers haha!

Anyway I suppose I better go and face the real world and get my clean on. Hopefully my OCD Domestic Goddess nature will come out because then I'll get the thing done in quick time. Otherwise I'll be here all night.

I was in one of those moods today where I could not give a crap, to put it bluntly. I spent most of the time focusing on my uni work and being glued to the computer. I am so lazy that it is unbelievable. This actual outfit wasn't what I actually wore today though considering I'm in my pyjama's and look like a mess (everyone has those day's right) however this outfit matches my mood.

CHRISTMAS IN FIVE DAYS. (Not that you didn't already know this) OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!! I'm such a kid when it comes to this time of year because I am a sucker for everything commerical. I like the idea of decorating things, especially trees and having everything sparkle. That makes me sound incredibly dumb or like some sort of freak, simple maybe, but it's true. Maybe I was a magpie in a previous life? (Did I really just type that?)

Whenever I wear check shirts I always think of a local nightclub near me where all the guys wear check shirts. Me and my friend always turn to each other and say, "Someone got the check shirt memo then?" It's actually really stupid because nowadays everyone looks the same, check shirts and chinos. Or denim shirts and chinos? Am I the only one who has noticed that? Haha!

Sorry that the photos are kinda crappy, lighting is such an issue around the winter months because obviously we lose it so quickly. So if that annoys you, deal with it. I joke, but yeah...

Seriously lacking motivation today. I've got to find it somewhere and I know it's not the middle of day but before you know it I'll be in front of the television watching Emmerdale. (Yes, I love that soap!) I'm posting this earlier than I usually do but unless I tick something off my list then I won't feel like I've accomplished anything. Maybe this will sort of give me a kick up the backside to do the rest (aka the more important stuff). Currently focusing on an assignment considering I'm at a sleepover with all my friends tonight (we're all back from our uni's!) and I've yet to pack for that! Eeek!

This jumper is an absolute love of mine when it comes to winter. It's from ASOS and was such a big trend last year. The camel and black stripe is just classic and it's actually too big for me now and sort of makes me realise how much my body has toned out since this time last year. Hm, I don't know what to say about this outfit. Plain Jane or what? Not that I'm saying it's a bad thing or anything. Considering I don't really have to leave the house it's an achievement that I'm actually dressed anyway so maybe I should admire it anyway.

Worked out this morning and cycled for three hours. Burned 700 calories! I have to say the rush you get when working out is actually so great. I know that sounds stupid but it's true. I've noticed a difference in my body and it's nice. Of course I'm still not happy, but sometimes I don't think I ever am going to be. I'm sometimes feel like I'm always gonna want to be thinner... Oh well haha! before we get on a downer and all meh let's just kill it.

I was in two minds about posting this outfit. I'm not in love with it, it doesn't scream out at me to be an outfit post but I decided to go ahead and do it anyway. One of the reasons for this blog is to show outfits and everyone has those days where they can't really be bothered. The dark mornings don't help either when it comes to picking out items to wear together. Everyone has "miss" days. Besides it's not like I had anywhere to go today, I've just been spending my time writing and preparing my assignments. I really don't want to have to do a bulk of them when I should be chilling, enjoying christmas!

The top is topshop and its from the tall section. I brought is ages ago (I hate it when people type that to explain how long ago they brought something/something that took places a long time ago) and it's one of those things that I like a times and then hate at others. I have to say though I am actually in the "tall" section in shops yet still think I should buy from the "normal" section. Maybe I just like wasting my money on things that don't fall quite right, ~*IDK~

You know it's bad when the best part of the post are the leopard print nails that are showing. Haha! As per usual I have a to-do list as long as my arm and it's kinda ridiculous but I've got a memory like a fish sometimes and it's not good.

The fact that I brought it from Forever 21 is shocking and I remember seeing it pushed between two other tops. The moment I saw it I knew someone had got to have hidden it but I was snapping it up. (I can be kinda ruthless like that when it comes to fashion items I like.) The fact that it is so out there means you can pair it with simple accessories and tones and you're good to go. To me this definitely one of those outfits that looks like you haven't just thrown it on, when really, you have.

I'm sorry if the awful lighting puts you off this post. I tried my hardest to edit the pictures to the best I could in photoshop but sometimes it just doesn't work. I couldn't not, not post this. If the tights and skirt combo is getting on your nerves I apologise. I just can't give up this skirt. At first I was slightly worried it would make me look bigger than I actually am but it doesn't and I think the whole 'fit and flare' look can be incredibly flattering.

I've been in two minds about posting these images since I got home but did it anyway. Lighting is such and issue in the colder months because we literally don't have many hours of light. I hope the fuzziness doesn't bother people too much (it's driving me crazy!) - I'll try and remember to take photos in the morning rather than late at night.

I'm living in this skirt because it's so easy to pair with a top and run out of the door. And I actually love this t-shirt from Primark, for a couple of pounds you can't go wrong and the colour is definitely one of my favourites this winter. I don't know what to call it thought, berry? Wine? Burgandy? There are many different expressions and words used on the high street at the minute to explain the same colour so confusion is obvious.

#1. I always find at this time of the year my weekly roundups are rather dull. I apologise for that but I guess its bound to happen at sometime. Even more so with darker nights drawing in and having to focus on anything other than fun!

#2. Been working hard on assignments this week (as per usual) and its not the best thing in the world but ya know... Ploughing on through. Its daunting knowing I've got three assignments that need to be in on the same week but if it's gotta be done, it's gotta be done.

#3. On saying that I still managed a little bit of down this week and watched the movie, In Time. Seriously it is such a great concept and Justin Timberlake and Alex Pettyfer, whats not to love! There are tons of great films out there that I really want to see still... Not enough time or money - student! Haha!

#4. Christmas tree went up this weekend! We always time it around the X-Factor, which is so lame haha, but it's got to be done! Have to say I really love Christmas, it is definitely one of my favourite times of the year. Also probably one of the mos stressful as well, assignments have to be handed in for uni and then there's the whole getting ready for Christmas itself. Definitely worth it in the end though!

You know I used to be conscious about getting my arms out on camera, or should I say this blog. I'm not particuarly thin (nor am I "fat") or whatever, and sometimes it plays on my mind. I forget that I am actually quite tall and that can have a lot to do with how you actually look. The difference between having more bone mass, muscle mass, and fat.

After taking these pictures I have to say my opinion and fear if you want to call it that has somewhat changed. My arms really aren't as fat as I think they are. Okay this sort of sounds like I'm fishing for compliments or my confidence is at an all time low or something but it isn't and I'm not. I've just sort of grown out of comparing myself to others I think (you never know next week I may just hate myself all over again) and in order to feel more confident I need to keep up my gym routine and focus on toning up.

Anyway with that out of the way I like this outfit today. It's nothing really special, it's nothing away from the norm, but it sits well. Navy and black don't usually go together well but on this occasion it works, especially in conjunction with the silver accessories.

I was in two minds about posting these images because the quality isn't the best. However I really wanted to get something up. I managed to sift through a bunch of questions on my formspring and I've made a note of them and I'm going to try and post them. Whether we're looking into the new year now or whatever I'm not too sure, but most likely. I want to focus on whatever posts I can do quickly and my uni work.

If I do get around to posting any of the formspring questions (you can still enter or ask here) they will be scheduled posts. I like to schedule ones that are "less personal" if you want to call them that because I can do them in advance and plan around them.

Anyway lets move onto the outfit, this jumper/top thingy (its not quite thick enough to just be called a jumper in my opinion) is actually really nice. I brought it from Forever 21 last month and haven't gotten around to wearing it. It's perfect to just throw on and know that you're going to be warm enough without being too warm. I don't know whether that makes sense or anyone understand that, or has experience what I mean. But that's what I mean. (Too many means in one sentence?)

Sometimes I think forever 21 is one of those places that you have to get lucky in, a bit like primark. And the prices still annoy the heck out of me but I just deal with it. At first I thought it was going to be a real competitor amongst the more popular, well known brands of the high street like topshop, river island, miss selfridge, but not I'm not so sure. Maybe it's because it's become too american (which sounds ridiculous because it is american) but I'd like to think that most people will understand what I mean when I say that. I would definitely say check out the oxford street store, or birmingham bullring store, because it's nice to say that you've shopped there but be prepared that you might not buy anything.

I wasn't going to post an outfit today but considering I decided against going to university I had time to put a post together. Taking photos is such a challenge when it comes to winter months. Lighting is non existent but surprisingly these turned out okay. Plus I liked my outfit today so thought it would be a waste otherwise.

My dress is a recent purchase from miss guided. I have to say this is my first time I've actually bought anything from there website after months and months of lusting after things on there. I had to snap this up though considering it is a dead ringer (apart from the neckline) of the Topshop velvet dress. It was such a steal at 20£ that is a was no brainer.

However, I have to say its so short! Like ridiculously! I wouldn't advise anyone who isn't petite to buy from there website unless you are going to wear their dresses with leggings. There is no way I could wear black tights with this (even really thick ones!) because the dress doesn't even fall below my bum cheeks! (That sounds so funny reading it back to myself) I am no shorter than 5'7 as well, so I don't really class myself as particularly tall. It's a shame really but I guess I'll just have to live with it.

I've been loving this faux fur stole so much lately, but I feel like such an idiot wearing it out for some reason. I can't bring myself to wear it to uni because I'm one of those people who cares too much about what others think of her. It's one of those items that sort of has a "who-does-she-think-she-is" qualities about it. So it's most likely just going to be bought out for "decorational" purposes on photos unless I gain some confidence, fast.

Another day another primark top teamed with my asos skirt. It's becoming a pattern. I'm honestly taking pride in looking at these photos, for some reason the quality of them is rather good (if I say so myself). Just look at what good old natural lightly can do for you eh?

I think part of the reason I'm becoming so complacent if you want to say that is because I don't know where my "style" is going. I feel like I have nothing to wear at the moment but I can't bring myself to buy anything "proper" for the fear of it being wasted money. I always have an image of how I want an outfit to look and sometimes it works, other times it doesn't and it's the latter at the moment so I'm doing that typical thing of sticking with what I know. #1. Christmas shopping is done and dusted! How amazing is online shopping? Haha! Feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders definitely. Still up to my eyeballs in pieces of paper and to-do lists but hey-ho, that's life!

#2. Finally got to watch Warrior and oh my god how amazing is that film! Seriously if it doesn't get a nod towards any awards then the film industry is going to the dogs. Tom Hardy (aka the reason I was drawn to the film to begin with) was brilliant! I don't want to ruin it for anyone (because it is being released on DVD soon!) but the end scene is just heartbreaking.

#3. I've been doing so much uni work this week that is actually unthinkable. I loved spending my Friday night surrounded by work sheets with one direction blasting from my iTunes. So amazing! Feeling so drained from it all to be honest, desperately need a break. But then again Christmas is gonna be just as manic considering I have three essays in for January... BREATHE.

#4. Looking forward to the X-Factor results tonight. Really hope Little Mix go through! They are definitely my favourites... Followed by Amelia. Would be really nice for a band to win it but 99.9% of the time the winner SUCKS... Definitely better to come out second or something... Haha! Fingers crossed for Little Mix.

#5. Really been thinking of changing my hair as in dying it. I am a dye virgin (20 years old and I've never even dyed my hair? Not lived?) and I'm quite new to this stuff. Yet, I don't know what to do. I really love the whole ombre hair but it's definitely over done, especially in the blogging world. So are there any other ways that I could change it that aren't too drastic? Maybe ombre with a different colour? Like this, this, this, this or this. Decisions, Decisions.

For some reason this outfit reminds me of two things, Pikachu (from Pokemon) and Humbug sweets. It has to be the colour and the stripes right? So for this reason the strokes song just had to be the title - considering that always reminds me of Pikachu with it's spelling.

I'M LOOKING DOWN. AGAIN. Sorry. I told you I would always pick up on that. Anyway my top is from primark and was a cheap £4. What's not to love about it. The colours of camel and black are a favourite of mine and I think the cropped length gives a twist on an other classic item. Of course I would only ever wear a higher waisted type of skirt with this top considering I don't have the figure for anything else but for how simple this outfit is it looks great.

One thing I think about fashion isn't it doesn't always have to be complicated. As long as you know that you feel good then you will look good and that's that.

To think that Christmas is less than a month away and I haven't even started my shopping. Not that I have a lot of people to buy for or anything, my family and my friends and that's it. #1. Currently sitting on my bed wrapped up in my duvet with my electric blanket on. How cold is it right now?! Winter is definitely upon us, not that it never isn't cold or anything in England? You'd think everyone in this country would be immune to the cold right now, but apparently not.

#2. My Christmas shopping underway/done now. Spending money isn't my favourite thing in the world to do unless it's on myself (I'm totally kidding). This is only because I hate seeing my bank balance slowly diminishing. I've bought quite a couple of nice gifts this year, mainly for my Mom, one of which is seeing Westlife (that's for me also, and I'm not embarrassed to admit it!) Our house is going to be manic this year with family coming over and I can't say that I'm pleased about that but I've got to deal with it, I suppose.

#3. Working hard with University stuff these passed couple of weeks (What's new?!) and I've noticed that the earlier I do things that less stressed I am about it. I think I've sort of got back into the swing of things academic wise (maybe) and I'm liking not having to stress out as much (I still stress out, slightly, because that's just my nature I guess?) Helps a bunch!

#4. One Direction's album came out this week and I love it so much! I don't even care if people laugh at that fact, there songs are catchy and that's it! I must admit they are slightly cute (cougar much?!) and that sways decisions but overall it's just nice to see another boy band come out. I've always been a sucker for boy bands, as are most girls, and these are no exception. Haha!

#5. Off to watch the xfactor results, like every other person in the UK. Sunday lazy day.

Topshop felt liner.

This Topshop liner is meant to be one of their best selling items so when I received it free with an order I was actually quite excited to use it. Usually I use Rimmel Exaggerate Liquid Eye Liner Black and at the point of getting this product remained relgious to this product because it achieved a thick line, not too thick, but enoough to define and give an easy winged look.

It's a shame to say that I still remain religious to my Rimmel product because of the great reviews on the website, but I'm going to tell you why.

There isn't really any control with the product. With a thicker tip you can easily swipe the brush over your eyelid and be done with it, but this pen is so fine that I find errors are easier to notice. The colour isn't, and I quote "Jet" (Black). When applying the actual product to your lid to get the actual colour that is suggested and most likely desired, true black, you have to apply the line several times. And I think this has a lot to do with the actual tip which I prone to drying. Bringing me onto my third flaw, the product drys quickly. As you can see by my picture, the tip of the pen is lighter than the section above it. It's actually quite disappointing considering I haven't ever left this pen without a lid. Surely that isn't supposed to happen.

Overall I find this product quite disappointing. I may have got a "dodgy" one but in getting/buying a product (I pay £5.29 for my Rimmel liner and Topshop retails as £6.50) you expect it to do pretty much what it says on the tin. One positive that I do have to stress is the packaging, even though it can get incredibly mucky with fingerprints and makeup debris the quirky idea of crayon looking writing fits perfectly into the Topshop brand. -Sigh- Looks like back to Rimmel I go.

I get so many compliments about this cardigan and how can you not love it. Lovely netural colours, vintage looking, cosy, over sized and just siiiiiigh. #1. Had such a great week last week that this week was no doubt going to be a downer. I have done nothing but go to uni and come home which is so thrilling of course! Not!

#2. There was a power surge in my area on Tuesday night which mean I was awake from 1:30am in the morning until 4am. It was horrendous. I absolutely love my sleep and these passed couple of weeks I've been lacking it so much. No more than five hours if I'm lucky, usually I need double that just to function. It's horrible! Insomnia? I'm not quite sure, but if it is... It needs to go away. ASAP!

#3. With the dark nights drawing in earlier I have noticed a change in my mood. Who knew that weather could have such a huge impact on everything in life. Like your mood, energy etc... As much as I love autumn/winter this is definitely a negative. Big time!

Sometimes Primark is hit and miss and this item was definitely a hit item. 10£ for a jumper than is incredibly cosy, such a nice colour and the cut is really good. The quality has been rising in Primark for quite some time (and so have the prices, unfortuantely) which is great for my wardobe and even better for my bank balance. There are times though when I sit and think about how the items have actually been made and feel guilty. Of course my trusty asos skirt and black tights combo came out and I threw this jumper on top to cuddle with.

Today consisted of me having to focus on uni work. I have to say a lot of the modules this year that appear boring on paper have been far better than those that are vice versa. Maybe I'm just growing up, I'm not too sure. For when I'm done I'm thinking of opening my formspring page for people to ask me fashion related questions that I could possibly answer on this blog? Soap and Glory is a brand that up until recently I was unaware of. I had seen many of their products in drugstore on the high street and admired their wonderful packaging, but had never really used them. It was not until using this product that I understood the where everyone was coming from when they raved about them.

The item that particularly stood out for me was the Hand Food. My skin is particularly dry on my arms/legs and I have this one section of my hand that is always drier when colder months come around. Using this product I have seen the change immensely, my skin is softer and smoother. You barely have to use a lot of product because it goes a long way which is always a plus.

The Heel Genius cream holds a lovely smell of orange that lingers and mixes well with citrus lemon. The slogan "better than a pedicure" isn't something I can actually back up considering I have never hand one but like the hand food this product does it's job and had made my skin smoother too, even though the effect is a lot less noticable than on my hands.

I'm still obsessing over peter pan collars and rust colours so this blouse just had to be snatched up. It's from Primark and was a steal at 7£! The floral pattern on it is incredibly cute and fits the dainty style and feel of the shirt, completing it perfectly. My ASOS skirt is my new go to and I'm definitely living in it. The pleated front gives an illusion of a slimmer figure which is always a plus too!

My beloved galaxy nails are forever going to be shown until they become to chipped for photography. Sorry if it's annoying but I still cannot get over the fact that they look so professional and it took not longer than twenty minutes to achieve the look. I hope everyone enjoyed the soap and glory post yesterday, I'm trying to "review" a selection of things and weave them through my fashion related posts but it's hard when you're on a spending ban and can't really buy anything that isn't necessary. #1. Just finished watching my installment of Supernatural. Cannot believe that show is on Season 7 already! I've been watching it from the beginning and I have to say I'll stick with it no matter what, but part of me thinks they are killing it now. It's so complicated with all the god, angels, hell etc... Sometimes I wish they would go back to their old way of thinking and just let them kick demon ass like they used too haha!

#2. I enjoyed a night out for my 20th birthday last night. Decided against Liverpool because my friends and I ended up leaving it too late. Hotels were either fully booked or far too expensive to justify, so ended up going to my local town. To be honest I can't believe I'm 20... It's so old...

#3. No rest for the wicked though! I'm trying my hardest to get on top of any course work/assignments I have for this year. Rather than letting them build up I'm trying to get space them out and get ahead of the game. My obsession with writing lists is definitely back in full swing.... It's quite OCD but you've gotta do what you've gotta do.

#4. Other than the above nothing much has been happening. Same old same old of uni work, and just generally being busy studying. Most of the time I find myself only leaving the house for uni, how sad is that?! Oh well, that's life I guess... When it gets to this time of year it's expected... I guess?

Colourworks brand was something I had never heard of until I was kindly given this makeup set by my brother and his girlfriend for Christmas. Since I am interested in makeup but not the best at applying it "professionally" this set has been gathering dust in my room. Up until now.

The smokin' lookbook holds everything you need to create the perfect smokey black eye. The eye shadows are pigmented with just the amount to give a shimmery look that is completed with the glitter laced eyeliner. I would definitely recommend newbies to the makeup world pick up this set and practice to your hearts content.

It's my birthday tomorrow, can't believe I'm 20! (Or as my friend calls it 19 + 365 days!! Ha!) Such a scary thought! Posting will most likely be slack but I'll make up for it. Heading out to Nandos tonight with some friends, hope everyone has a great weekend.

Nail art has always been something that has interested me, not so much that I wanted to gain a qualification in it but still enough that I enjoy painting my nails and rarely don't ever have them polished. I came across this youtube channel and I have to say it kick started my nail craze all over again.

I have to say that I'm really excited to try out lots of different examples that are on that YouTube channel, particularly the Harry Potter nails, the tribal aztec and the ladybug nail art (this one especially because it reminds me of my love for lady bugs when I was younger!).

As for the actual nail art itself, it's easy and if you're a beginner have a dabble and you'll see. My advice would be to just take your time and try to get colours as close to the ones that are used on the video for the overall effect to actually work. My colours are a little out there but I was just too eager to try the idea out that I didn't check my colours first off. For a first attempt I think it's look great (if I say so myself, haha)! Layering the nail polish is pretty simple but the actual look gives the feeling of advance and professionalism.

I am absolutely in love with this blouse. Burgundy is such a great colour and I knew that I needed to buy this top as soon as I saw it. It's a little tight but considering I'm losing weight/upping my gym workouts to tone out I brought it in size smaller knowing that this time next month it could (by this I mean WILL) fit me perfectly.

A little bit random but honestly when I finish university I am going to miss the student discount. However it is definitely one of my worst enemies when I'm on a "shopping ban" which I sort of am at the moment - only buying things that I really, really, really want or need. Still rocking the galaxy nails because I think they look so professional that it hurts. They are so easy to do as well, you just wouldn't believe it when looking at them.

Today I've been working on two essays, re-wording some stuff. Have to say when you only have a word limit of 750 words stuff can get quite intense. I haven't even tried to cut anything down yet but I know I'm definitely a couple of words over. Man, oh man! Hoping to get a lot done today and tomorrow too.... The night is still young, I guess.

#1. Enjoyed a family lunch today to celebrate what would have been my Nan's 90th birthday. It's nice that we can still do things like celebrate her memory. She was such a lovely lady and I wish I could have got to know her better.

However this sometimes is the only thing that keeps me sane considering I'm so weighed down with uni work because I've go it into my head that I need to not let it all pile up (which is the right way to think about it) so I'm making sure I focus on that (Sorry if it annoys anyone).

Hello November, my favourite month! (Well one of and that's only because it's my birthday month! lame)

Today's outfit is pretty much thrown together. I wanted to wear this flower shirt that epically failed in this post. You'll all be pleased to know that those trousers have now been thrown away or given to charity. Because I was in a rush again I opted for my Miss Selfridge body con-esc skirt that I wear ALL of the time and added my ASOS black cardigan to round the outfit off.

I know I said this months ago that posts would most likely slow down when I got back into uni (and they haven't) well I have to confess it's because something I slightly cheat. Well, not really, but still... I plan a lot of my outfits and take photos before hand sometimes, especially when I know that one week in particular is going to be incredibly busy. But (in a way) I wouldn't class this has cheating because I do wear what I post because it's been planned the night before. (Does this even make sense because when I'm reading it back to myself I sound... stoopid)

Anyway before I ramble anymore I'm going to love ya and leave ya. Off to enjoy some pointless television (aka Sunday's TOWIE)... Byeeeee!

#1. Reading week this week for uni so I've been making sure I am up to my eyeballs in work or some sort of academic jargon. I have to say this year I have really been enjoying uni, everything is so much better, relationships with people and the subjects. Sometimes it can get a bit repetitive but that's just life I guess, other than that I'm really loving it! Not that I don't enjoy the "breaks" or anything, I am still human after all.

#2. So what is everyone doing for Halloween tomorrow?! Most likely I will be doing absolutely nothing. I really hate Halloween as a "holiday". It's American, not British so technically I don't really class it as a holiday. I have to say however I do like to carve pumpkins and all that jazz!

#3. I've got a list as long as my arm of things that I want to "review" for the blog. By now I hope everyone understands what I mean by that. Usually it's anything but an outfit post/clothing related. Usually it's something that I have bought be it makeup, fragrance, or accessories related. It's nice to break up the outfit posts every now and again. Plus sometimes the timings of uni and lighting means outfit posts aren't always able to happen.

#4. My spending band (clothing) is well underway now. I've not bought anything new for a whole month and it's killing me now. If I'm honest I know I"m going to slip soon, but it is my birthday and that old chestnut of an excuse is definitely going to rear it's ugly head sometime. Maybe a lot earlier than I think.

This jumper was something that I dug out of my closest after I cleaned my room from top to bottom. It's incredible how much stuff you can collect or should I say hoard without even actually realising. The amount of clothes that I had with tags still on them was appalling.

I spent my day trying to do as much of my to-do list as possible. If you guys could see my notepad book and the amount of different lists I have in there you would think I'm crazy, but that's just my way of dealing with stuff. I actually don't have a lot of stuff to write about other than I'm looking forward to watching Saturday night television aka x-factor and get all cuddly on the couch... I'm the definition of student, not.

The No7. Brand is known amongst the beautysphere as being strongly linked to drug/high street beauty store Boots. Their collections range across a broad of different makeup items and they are usually great value for their reasonably and sometimes low end prices. The No.7 total colour organiser eye palette offers a range of different shadows that would be welcomed into any makeup bag around.

Easily giving you four different looks in this set you are offered a black smokey eye, a neutral day look, a purple smokey eye and blue/green shadows to do with what you wish. I particularly favour Truffle and Wheatsheaf as they remind of similar colours found in the Naked Palette.

Overall I like this palette, I think the eye shadows are of reasonable quality with enough pigment to them that they are easy to build and add depth upon personal choice. Definitely worth checking out if you want a palette that can not only give day looks but ones that can be swept into and changed for the night.

When I first brought this product I found myself admiring the packaging for a long time before actually using it. The colour of the body wash gives a feel of luxury that is only continued further into the actual product itself. The body wash is of a thick-ish consistency and smells gorgeous when upon the skin.

The body spray mist is lovely - perfect to place in your bag when running low on perfume. Fruity and fresh it contrasts perfectly against the cooler month air and gives a light coverage with enough scent. I definitely have to say that out of the two products this is my favourite, I constantly use it and like how easy it is to throw into your bag giving you a feel of perfume without the price tag!

This outfit was something that I was completely undecided about posting, I actually didn't wear it today but a couple of days ago. I know that's cheating but still... Actually I can't think of anything to excuse that but I wanted to post something and this was the best thing.

I'm obsessed with this rust and black combination. I think the colours compliment each other as well as the autumn months. I am lacking inspiration though, I don't know why, maybe it's the early mornings and long days where I actually need to use my brain (something that has grown unusual over the weeks I had off over summer) but I'm just far too boring lately. Sorry.

Anyway, tomorrow I've got a "review" for you guys, I can't remember what it is because I've got quite a few that I want to post so now I just have to decide. I think it's either something body wash or makeup related so make sure you catch that. As for now, I'm going to continue reading up on some things for uni! Really enjoying a lot of the topics this year, I hope this continues!

#1. I've been having sleeping troubles left, right and centre this week. I really hate it. I'm waking up at like 4:30am, 5am etc... and it's horrible. More so when I'm at uni and know I most likely won't get home until the afternoon or later on most days. Thing is its becoming quite a regular occurrence and really don't want to see the doctor for any tablets, or what have you, so hopefully it goes away soon.

#2. So I'm planning on going to Liverpool for my twentieth birthday. Has anyone ever been there? I want to know some good places to check out and stuff.... Suggestions would be great!

#3. Pumped for WWE Venegnce tonight... The fact that Triple H is teaming together with CM Punk is just far too much to handle! I love wrestling far too much and half the time I think I was a boy in a previous life but ya know... What can you do... Haha!

#4. Lastly to most people reading this will think I am incredibly lame, but IDGAF. On Wednesday Westlife announced they are splitting after 14 years. I have to say I am so gutted. I mean I've liked that band since I was 7/8 and the first time I am actually going to see them live is on this greatest hits tour they are doing in May, which is their last tour! Whaaaaat! I just know it's going to be such a great night and I cannot wait, even though I am sad. I mean Westlife is my childhood and in a way its ending.

I'm not one to really get my arms out in the summer so don't ask me why I'm doing so in the winter. I did however wear a coat, so it's all gravey/okay. Ha! Excuse my arms they look dirty and that is the reminants on my Ibiza tan. It is actually horrible. My back, shoulders and tops of my arms are still brown and then I have this weird line just above my boobs that is brown, but my chest is white. It's very awkward when I wear a tank and you can see the line... Tan lines are never a good thing, natural or not. It's so bad that it looks like I haven't been washing... Gross, I know.

Tremendously tired this week and this feeling is becoming the story of my life. Looking forward to snuggling in my pj's and checking my to-do lists. Not very interesting but that's just me I guess.

You most likely all bored of seeing my asos cross ring. It is literally stuck to my hand. Well, not literally, but still... What I'm trying to say is that I love it so much that I can't not wear it. It's discolouring and going nasty, and I'm thinking of buying a new one. The only downside is that when I travel to uni and any preacher who is heading to town gets on and they spot it, I'm in trouble. ~*story time*~ Last year I was on the train with my best friend and this lady just points and my ring and goes "he will rise" - I could have died. Then she rambled off on about Jesus and everything. And I'm not against religion by any means (I mean I have been christened etc...) but she was attracting attention to me and I started giggling at her... Because I was so nervous... Maybe that's a sign I need to grow up?

Anyway you didn't need that long winded sort of paragraph so... COLOUR. COLOUR. COLOUR.... It's actually nice to type that word even more so when I'm talking about anything other than black (which some people see as a tone rather than a colour anyway). This shirt was something I brought for my holiday to Ibiza and I actually did wear it. The colour is a lovely red and contrasts perfectly against my dark hair but I have to say it creases like a bitch and makes the whole outfit look, how can I put politely, worn?

I've been wracking my brains trying to figure out when to call this post when Beach House came on my iTunes... Forgot how much I love that band. Now going to get comfy and drink some tea, maybe read a book, maybe fester in front of the television. I'll see where the night takes me.

Another black and rust combination. I'm sure you guys are going to be seeing more of these in the coming future. The colours just go so well together and this tunic is easy to throw on and run out of the door without looking too much like a tramp. The actual item is something that I bought a while ago in the Topshop sale, I think it was 25£ marked down to 15£. I definitely wouldn't have paid 25£ for it. I don't know, sometimes I love Topshop, the clothes can be amazing quality and then sometimes they are ridiculously over priced for the material/style/cut.

#1. Can't believe we're already on fifty of these posts... It's like a milestone haha! To think that I've written fifty of these posts (probably full of nothing interesting) is a bit like woah.... But I also like it that I can look back on these when I'm older and remember certain things... Anyway... Getting too deep for the first post huh?

#2. Uni has started to kick in now so I've kind of decided in order to keep my blog ticking over (for want of a better word) I'm going to do some scheduled outfit posts, probably starting next week, maybe this. There won't be a lot, but at least one per week. Watch this space!

#3. I'm on a spending ban and I have been since before Sheffield. Recently I just decided that I have far too much crap, and that's exactly what it is, crap, so I need to stop wasting money. Of course there are ton of things I want to get from the high street, particularly shoes, but so far I've managed to fight the urge! Haha... Even if it means giving my Mom my plastic to stop me burning it (not literally but metophorically? Is that right?) *~DUMB~*

Blind to life? Blind to the rest of my wardrobe more like... I know, I know, terrible joke. Sometimes I find it hard to kick off the writing for each other these posts and when I can't think of anything I come up with awful things such as the above. I hate how depressing my wardrobe looks sometimes, I have so much black and grey and drab. I mean I have colour too but when I need to get up in the morning and look semi-reasonable without having to try black and grey are so much easier to throw on.

I've been enjoying reading blogs this month, I must say I'm loving gh0stparties and Temp Secretary. It's nice to see different expressions of fashion and what other people are liking/disliking. That's part of what fashion and blogging is about for me, the differences.

Tomorrow's Friday which means it's almost the weekend, if that doesn't put a smile on anyone's face then I don't know what will. I plan on spending my weekend doing as little as possible if I can, maybe working out. My god, doesn't that sound so interesting, you really wanted to know that? Not. I'm such a joker.... -noneface-.

wednesday wants #18 - midi skirt.

More recently the shape, style and length of the skirt has transitions all over the place. The two styles that appear to be incredibly on trend at the moment are the skater style and the midi. Considering we are hitting the cooler months I thought it was only right to focus on the midi which not only gives more coverage but looks as if it is going to become a staple in any fashionistas wardrobe over A/W '11.

Today's choice is from Miss Selfridge and can be found here. But if all else fails and you can't find one that you like; maybe turn to an old maxi skirt that you haven't got much wear out over summer and customise to your hearts content.

An attempt at office is what Look One is trying to achieve. The simple base of colours allows the grey and orange to stand out but mix together well complementing the black skirt. The high heels will help elongate the calf and give more of a streamlined look to the flowy skirt.

Look two is definitely one of those outfit that takes an item of clothing that can be transitions from day to night and shows how this works. This skirt from Miss Selfridge could automatically be thrown on for a night out but easily frowned up (for want of better words) for day wear. Yet when thrown together with the right accessories, the brogues and hat in particular, you get a dressy day look without trying too hard. I have to say I love the vintage inspired watch from New Look, it looked expensive without the price tag and definitely a necessity for ones wardrobe.

Without a doubt my favourite look from this week's "Wednesday Wants" is Look Three. The cropped vest is gorgeous and I adore how it add delicacy to the otherwise sturdy and strong shapes of the wedges and accessories. By taking colours and matching them you get a well rounded, neat look that would look great either worn to a restaurant or cocktail bar.

You can't wrong with all black sometimes and this clearly reflects in my wardobe. I was sorting through my clothes at the weekend and these exact words left my Mom's mouth "Don't you own a lot of black stuff?" Talk about stating the obvious Mom, I mean really?! I don't really believe in the whole - black is slimming either, yet I still buy tons of items in the colour, or tone, whatever.

Peeking out are the WAH NAILS that I love doing so much. I've got tons of compliments from my friends, some of them not believing that I've done it myself. When I tell them I have we just get into this debate on how can my right hand be so neat if I'm right handed... Errr, it's called practice?! The polish that I'm using is a really old one by Boots No7 and it belongs to my Mom. She loves bronze colours and they are the only ones she'll wear on her - and of course I stole it because the colour itself fits perfectly into the whole Leopard Print nail art design.

I spent today going through a peer review document for one of my modules. I found it interesting to read but kept having breaks. Reading about 20 pages and having to write notes for an overview can be quite stressful and mind boggling but I made it through eventually! I think I've got an understanding but I don't know whether I'm 100% confident... Sigh. The joys of university I guess, haha!

#1. Ughhhhhhhhhhhh I'm still so tired from Friday night in Sheffield. I went to celebrate one of my friends birthday's (she turned 20 and I've known her since I was 11... Ahhh we are getting so old!!!) I had such a laugh all weekend and really enjoyed myself. Sheffield has great night life.... Definitely hit it up if you haven't been!

What did I tell you about this skirt, here it is again. Sorry if I'm boring you. All of these items are so old but I'm really trying to recycle my wardrobe and stop buying new things. Sorry for the lack of inspiration with this outfit, it is the end of the week though so I suppose I can blame my boring-ness (is that even a word?!) on being too tired.

These pictures were from earlier on this morning before I headed out and did my day. I'm currently snuggled up in my sweats now watching television and getting for for part two of Emmerdale. I know that sounds incredibly sad for a student but I'm actually preferring nights in when the colder months come around. Of course that isn't really logical because my birthday is right around the corner... One month and one week away, argh, but still... That's just me I guess.

Trying to find some new books to read to keep me occupied when I'm not doing uni work or this blog. Edging towards something by Philippa Gregory like The Other Boleyn Girl but I'm not too sure. As long as it's a fun read and something I enjoy then I'm open to ideas... I'll just have to keep searching.

These earrings made their rounds through the blogging sphere and I completely forgot about them until I came across them recently in my room. I have to say I love the colours and the style. The aztec print is definitely one of my favourite trends for autumn/winter '11. For two quid you can't wrong either can you?

Little slimming tip here, buy earrings in triangles, because they instantly thin down your neck. I found this out in an outfit post last month.

I fought with myself with posting this outfit. It's just really blah and not worthy of an outfit post but sometimes people have those days. I'm in one of those places at the moment where I really want to change my entire wardrobe but I already own way too much stuff. Really considering opening up an ebay account and selling a bunch of stuff. I'm not bothered how much for really, as long as they sell I guess.

Everyone and everybody has this ring from Primark in the ~*blogging world*~ and it's actually too big for me now so I don't wear it that much. I actually only wore it for the purpose of these pictures because otherwise I would lose it because it slips off that easily. Basically it added colour to the pictures, but I still love it all the same.

My beloved Miss Selfridge skirt is something I haven't worn since college because I thought I lost it but now its found I definitely expect to see it in near enough every single outfit post because it's so easy to dress up. I'm now off to catch up on some television before the Sky Planner becomes too full and I can't record anything new ~*sad lyf*~ I know you don't need to tell me!

too much love for this cardi!

#1. A lot of you reading this most likely won't agree with me but I have to say that this whole heatwave thing is getting on my nerves. As much as I love having sun I don't want to be sweating so much that I feel like I'm about to pass out (TMI! SORRY!) I'm sort of annoyed because I've brought so many new AUTUMN clothes that I haven't really been able to wear and I'm feeling cheated. World, sort it out will ya?

#2. You know I would be really lying to you if I said that uni wasn't taking it out of me. I constantly feel tired all of the time and it doesn't help my nature. I'm so grumpy when I get home and everything seems like it is never ending. Kids, take note, don't will your school years away from you because adulthood really isn't all it's cracked up to be!

#3. Looking forward to going to Sheffield next weekend! It's always nice to go to different places in the country and see friends etc... who are at uni! Always such a great night out (cheap) and definitely something I need.

#4. Sometimes I think I'm old before my time... I don't know whether that's a good thing or not but anyway what I'm trying to get as is I'm 19 year old girl who loves Downtown Abbey so much so that I've gone back and watched all of series one just so I know what's happening in series two... A bit sad really isn't it?

#5. Basically not a lot of things happened this week, I am far too excited for Sheffield next week... Will be something different and definitely needed! Although planning an outfit is going to be a bitch, of course! Haha!

Dressing for comfort is what I have enjoy doing and I guess I always do when it comes to the colder months. The only problem is the sun thinks we are still in july/august and I'm not a fan considering I've spent £££ (pounds) on autumn clothes so give me autumn damnit! This cardigan is absolutely my most favourite item of clothing in my wardrobe at the moment and whilst it was pricey it was definitely worth paying the money for because I feel it's a classic item with a twist.

The return of the top knot is obviously backing up my lazy nature. If my mother could see me with my hair like this she would be appalled - joke. Actually not so much a joke but a little twist of words, she doesn't like it when girls look as if they haven't put effort in and go for the "messy" look that has actually taken them far longer to achieve than sleeked look would have.

Not much else to say really, other than I can't believe how quickly this month has passed. EEK! It's actually scary to think in two months time I will be twenty. Maybe I shouldn't think about it.

Don't ask me why I'm wearing shorts in September because even I don't know that, they were just hanging there this morning when I got dressed and I clearly didn't think haha! Throwing a coat over things is what autumn is all about right? When it comes to my autumn wardrobe I tend to sway more to black, but I'm trying to branch out to other colours particularly burgandy. I've found a couple of items that I love and fingers crossed I'll be purchasing soon (my birthday is right around the corner... It isn't but I can start to use this excuse soon, hopefully).

This top is actually a dress that I brought from Topshop that I have yet to actually wear as a dress. Bit weird to think I'm actually using it outside of its purpose before I've actually worn the item how it should be worn? I really love how the collar is the main attraction, on trend without being too OOT, we all know that leopard print has a way of looking a bit brash. I'll definitely have to get some wear out of this because it's definitely one of those things that can be carried from day to night with the right accessories, shoes etc...

#1. I was back a university this week it was weird having to get up incredibly early to fit in working out and making sure I had enough time to get ready and presentable. I'm in four days a week with quite a good timetable, especially for times etc... Hopefully I enjoy everything I've enrolled for as much as I think I will do!

#2. Can I just stress how much I'm loving Charlie Simpson's album - Young Pilgrim. It's such a chilled out album that I can't stop listening to. Definitely buy it if you like listening to acoustic music... I promise you won't be disappointed. My favourites are Riverbanks, Thorns, Suburbs, Sundown, If I Lose It and I Need A Friend Tonight.

#3. I would be lost without Carmex. It's my new "love" and thing that I can't be without. Usually I'm a Vaseline girl, and you never see me without a tub of the stuff, but recently I've decided to splurge a little more. This is only because my lips have been chapping like a bitch. It's horrible, they were so bad that it looked like I'd had lip fillers that had gone wrong. Hopefully it clears up and they are fine again soon because its definitely knocking my confidence.

#4. I completed another one of my 2011 goals this weekend. It was to watch 20 moves by the end of the year. Of course it's not one of my most important goals but it's definitely made me plough on keep going knowing that I can up my game when I set myself "challenges" for next year.

I'm so through with being incredibly tired. I absolutely hate how my body does this sometimes when my routine changes dramatically. It's not like I don't get any sleep at all, actually I love my sleep so much so that I try to get at least 9hrs a night. It just has to be done, otherwise I am such a grouch the next day. Yet, I feel like I'm getting nothing. It's stupid. If I'm coming down with something there will be hell to pay! Haha!

Anyway, enough of the moaning and groaning and onto the outfit. I don't know why my jeggings look black when they are actually navy. I have to do something about the lighting, seriously! Sorry for the lack of amazingness, this outfit is so simple but sometimes that's what works the best. I love this nautical vest that I picked up from Topshop, definitely a classic piece with the colours of navy and white - even more so with my trusty scarf from River Island.

If dressing for comfort was a job title I think I would pretty much be up there for the job. I never ever get old of my oversized cardigans, especially this khaki version from ASOS that I got last year. I just absolutely love them even if they make it look as if I've gained two stone in weight.

Earthy tones have been appealing to me at lot lately, especially when put against as pair of jeans/jeggings. Hence the khaki cardigan and concrete mixer nail varnish. I think it has a lot to do with the change in weather too, I don't want to sound too cheesy but I often believe that a lot of autumn fashions are always inspired by the fallen leaves. Just a thought?

I'm still blasting The Cab's album Symphony Soldier. I still love it as much now as I did when it came out in August. Temporary Bliss needs to be a single or have it's own video because if it doesn't I wont be pleased.
